Bagels

The first recipe with diastase was Bagels. In Houston, TX it is quite a challenge (if possible at all) to find a good bagel. To all you Einstein's and Panera fans, sorry, that's not a bagel. Armed with my diastatic malt powder and my bagel recipe (see yesterday's post), I went to work.

Here they are before rising overnight in the fridge:

They turned out pretty well, actually.
